Do you think you've seen everything in Thor (2011)? Think again.

Thor 2: The Dark World set for release November 8, 2013. But it turns out there were a bunch of things from the first film that got cut. Thanks to concept artist Vance Kovacs we get a peek at some of them.

Things like an alternate version of "The Chamber of The Warriors Three" and the final scene with Loki hanging from the Bifrost rainbow bridge...with Odin helping him?

Kovacs has worked on big budget films like The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), Men in Black 3 (2012) and Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)

Official Synopsis
Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, “Thor,” which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Men in Black 3 (2012) is full of crazy and wild inventions, kind of like the first film. Two memorable ones were the Monobike and Boris The Animal's chopper motorcycle.

Vance Kovacs (Thor, John Carter, Snow White and the Huntsman), who worked on the film has shared some of his illustrations for the film.

A new piece of concept art for the upcoming Marvel superhero film Thor (2011) has been shared showing the "Rainbow Bridge" Bifrost.

According to Wikipedia "In Norse mythology, Bifröst or Bilröst is a burning rainbow bridge that reaches between Midgard [Earth] , the world, and Asgard, the realm of the gods."

This picture really shows the grandeur and scope of the world director Kenneth Brannagh is trying to build.

Last week, some new images of the movie Thor (2011) hit the net and a lot of people hated the costume design.

Here are some pictures of the released concept art a while back. I'm skeptical that these images were ever used for pre-production, but, with the industry moving more towards CGI and digital effects it's possible.

Compare to the original costume design by Jack Kirby.

The movie has a ton of concept artists attached to it, so I have no idea who created them.
